French-Korean violinist Emma Lee blends classical, pop, and improvisation into elegant, modern performances driven by virtuosity, emotion, and musical freedom.

Emma Lee is a French-Korean violinist known for her modern and expressive approach to the instrument. She began playing violin at the age of 6, training with renowned musicians such as Vladimir Nemtanu, Régis Pasquier, and Frédéric Laroque. Her artistic journey was further shaped by her work with Ibrahim Maalouf, through which she developed a strong interest in improvisation.

A graduate of the Conservatory (PSPBB), Emma Lee has built a unique musical identity at the intersection of classical violin, pop, jazz, and contemporary music, while also exploring collaborations with DJs and hybrid live formats. Her playing combines technical mastery with freedom and emotional depth, allowing her to adapt seamlessly to a wide range of artistic and event contexts.

With over 15 years of professional experience, she has worked with acclaimed artists such as Grand Corps Malade, Emel Mathlouthi, and Michel Fugain. She also contributed to the musical creation of the play Thyeste, directed by Thomas Jolly at the Avignon Festival.
